| Company Profile: Consumer Durables Job Description: Senior Supply Chain /Inventory Manager position with Fast Growth and Profitable Consumer/ Industrial products company. Looking for the best of the best in Inventory/Warehouse Mgt/. Strategic Tactical. Corporate role with high level of interaction with senior management as well as suppliers and customers. Job Requirements: ABOUT THE POSITION As Supply Chain Manager in charge of Inventory Management for the company, your main job will be the following: Develop inventory plan strategy and performance metrics and ensure goals are met. You will work with the Supply Chain team to develop customer centric metrics and lead the Inventory Management team to achieve Supply Chain goals for the company. You will lead Inventory Management Function for assigned suppliers and assure effective inventory management execution by overseeing supplier collaboration meetings and regular supplier communication processes. Ensure timely and effective communications with Regional Warehouse Managers on Supplier issues and initiatives. You will be in charge of forecasting and replenishment strategies and deal with slow moving and obsolete inventory. In addition, you will be in charge of several groups of Inventory Managers and Planners / Analysts. Leading this group will include hiring, training developing a staff of 15-20.. Position Qualifications • Four year College Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain / Operations or business filed. • Master's degree in a related field or MBA (preferred). • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a purchasing and replenishment role required. • Expert level knowledge of operations. • Experience in a multi-warehouse national distribution network. • Solid understanding and hands-on experience in the following areas: Sales / Ops Planning, WMS, MRP, DRP, Forecasting, Production/Inventory Planning and Scheduling, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). • COMPENSATION Excellent package includes a competitive base plus a bonus, outstanding medical , relocation and other benefits.
